The conference will take place on the campus of\u00a0Michigan Technological University<\/a>, 1400 Townsend Drive, Houghton, MI 49931.<\/p>\n

The town of\u00a0Houghton<\/a>\u00a0is the gateway to the beautiful\u00a0Keweenaw Peninsula<\/a>\u00a0of Michigan\u2019s\u00a0Upper Peninsula<\/a>. The regional airport is Hancock, Michigan, (CMX)<\/strong>, located 7 miles north of Houghton, with two daily flights to\/from Chicago O\u2019Hare\u00a0(ORD)<\/strong>. Other nearby airports are: Marquette, MI (MQT<\/strong>) (2 hours drive from Houghton); Escanaba, MI\u00a0(ESC)<\/strong> (3 hours); Green Bay, WI\u00a0(GRB<\/strong>) (4 hours); Duluth, MN\u00a0(DLH<\/strong>) (4 hours); and Wausau, WI (CWA<\/strong>) (3.5 hours). The Conference will provide local transportation.<\/p>\n

Rooms are blocked at\u00a0the Franklin Square Inn<\/a> (906-487-1700) a short walk to the campus. When calling the hotel, please mention \u201cPinT 2020\u201d to receive the block rate. If you make a reservation with a third party the hotel can\u2019t give the rate. The rooms will be held until July 1<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0The Super 8 Houghton<\/a> (906-482-2240) is also a short walk to campus (no conference rate is available). Other choices are Quality Inn and Suites<\/a> and Ramada<\/a> across the Portage Lift Bridge.<\/p>\n
